About Us
Caring For Pets Like They’re Family
At Wag Central in Stratford and TownHouse for Dogs & Cats in Westport, we believe pets deserve to be understood, respected, and celebrated for the unique individuals they are.
Every service we offer, from daycare and boarding to grooming, swimming, training, and enrichment, is built around one simple goal: helping pets live happier, healthier lives while giving their families complete peace of mind.
As pet parents ourselves, we know the trust it takes to leave a beloved companion in someone else's care. That's why we've created welcoming environments where safety, compassion, enrichment, and personalized attention come together every single day.

Our History
Wag Central was created by Angela Pantalone, a lifelong educator, professional dog trainer, and passionate animal advocate with a vision of raising the standard for modern pet care.
Drawing on her background as both a teacher and trainer, Angela created an environment where pets don't simply spend the day—they learn, grow, play, and thrive. Her philosophy combines positive reinforcement, thoughtful enrichment, individualized care, and a genuine understanding of canine behavior to create experiences that benefit both pets and their families.
In 2023, Angela expanded that vision by becoming the owner of TownHouse for Dogs & Cats in Westport following the retirement of longtime owners Mel and Sandy Goldman. For more than 50 years, TownHouse earned the trust of generations of Fairfield County pet parents through its commitment to compassionate, quality care. Today, we're proud to continue that legacy while introducing expanded enrichment programs, updated facilities, and modern pet care practices.
Although each location has its own personality and unique amenities, they share the same commitment to exceptional care, professional expertise, and treating every pet like family.
